Deadly Cuts

The Deadly Cuts salon in the Dublin working-class suburb of Piglinstown provides a welcoming gossipy haven for the women of the neighbourhood. But when the salon is threatened with demolition and a violent encounter with a local hoodlum ends badly, the salon staff become accidental vigilantes, defending their livelihood and their community against gangsters, corrupt councillors and the forces of gentrification. In an effort to raise the glamour stakes the young stylists enter a high-class hairdressing competition. When they find themselves pitted against cutthroat rivals from a snootier salon, hijinks ensues.
